We provide a phased approach to project management in which tangible deliverables and task can be shown for approval before moving forward with projects.
Project structure and approvals is critical to effectively communicate and monitor progress between team members, the client, and other contractors/ vendors involved in projects.
At E&M Solutions we work with the team from all disciplines of engineering, contractors, and vendors to provide detail scheduling and budgeting to define phases and the project structure. We can align with company specific processes, adapt to projects that are subcomponents of other projects, financial plans, or provide our own structure.
Ensuring well-defined scopes of work, detailed budgets, and quality schedules aids in reducing the risk of projects becoming off track on scheduling or budgeting and we work to define these three items as much as possible as early as possible. From the start of projects, long lead items are also established so that critical elements of the project are not delayed by a preceding task.
Budgets are established based on engineering factors from both established sources, and from working with established vendors and contractors.
Once items are established, we work to continuously monitor and update as necessary throughout the project. During the project constant communication and progress tracking is continued with all team members to assure alignment in the execution of a project.
We also offer scanning and tracking technologies to aid mechanical and structural failure analyses. These tools are an integral part of forensics to determine not necessarily the root cause of the failure, but how it failed.
This in turn develops why it failed to aid in determining the root cause.
